Macbook not booting to home screen. flashing file folder with question mark on top of folder. can get to disk utility/ recovery menu by holding option key when booting up the computer. Disk utility repair not an option due to options being greyed out. Computer does not recognize harddrive when back up (time machine) is intiated or installation of OSX is prompted.
also, battery having issues charging and maintaining a charge. Chargers will have a hard time recognizing the charge port and will fluctuate between orange and green color. Isssue occurs using multiple chargers. Possible problem with the charging port.
